FAQ’s for consumers

  • Yes. All of this hair is 100% human hair and was free from any chemical hair services at the time it was sourced.

  • Yes, you will be able to wash and style it just like your own hair.

  • Not if you normally use heat styling tools above 350F. Daily use of that much heat will significantly shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

    The use of a heat-protectant spray is an absolute must every time you apply heat if you wish to get the average life out of them.

  • On average, your extensions will last for 3-6 months.

  • No. With proper installation technique and home care, your own hair and extensions will coexist beautifully.

  • Not if the correct home maintenance is followed. (Brushing 3 times daily, sleeping in a loose pony-tail, correct use of styling products and heat tools)

  • The extensions should last you between 3-6 months, depending on your haircut and home care regimen.

    We recommend getting them "moved up" every 6 weeks and that service will typically cost $80.

  • Both of those activities will shorten the life of your extensions. Chlorine and salt water will dry them out and often discolor them.

    Application of a leave-in conditioner and/or a bathing cap can help but swimming will almost always damage your extensions to some extent.

  • Frequent shampooing will shorten the lifespan of your extensions just as it does to a color service.

    However, use of an appropriate, extensions-approved, shampoo, conditioner and styling products, will maximize the length of time you get to enjoy them.

  • Not anymore. Gone are the days when it was obvious who was wearing them. (Because they were often poorly done)

    Many, many women wear enough extensions to give them back the volume and fullness they had 10-15 years ago.
